Summer Cocktails for Porch Sippin'

Hello, Y'all!

I can't believe this Saturday is the official first day of Summer! Not sure where half the year has gone. The last couple of weekends, I have been working on my backyard and deck, hoping to finish and enjoy the summer evenings sipping a cocktail. Sip away, while trying to forget about the mosquito biting my legs and the sweat on my brow. I have been stepping up my mixology game this year and have discovered a couple of new cocktails perfect for Porch Sippin'.

The Bees Knees - This gin and honey cocktail is not too sweet but rather refreshing with the vest of lemon. I am not the biggest fan of gin because of the juniper, but I enjoy The Charleston Distillery's Jasper Gin. The Jasper Gin has less juniper than a regular gin, which makes it pair well with the lemon and honey.

  • 1 tbsp Honey

  • 3/4 oz Lemon juice

  • 2 oz Jasper Gin

  • 1/2 tbsp Water

Garnished with our Lemon Garnish Acrylic Stirrer!

Vodka Gimlet - This cocktail is a great substitute for a margarita if you aren't a Tequila fan but love the lime flavoring. Perfect for sipping or for taco night!

  • 2 oz vodka

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 1 oz simple syrup

Blueberry Faux Mojito - I love blueberry mojitos but the other day I didn't have rum or fresh blueberries so I made due and y'all it was delicious. This will be my drink of choice this summer for sure. I love the blend of berry with lime and pop of mint!

  • 1/2 oz Blueberry Lacquer

  • 2 tbsp Lime juice

  • 1 oz Simple syrup

  • 2 oz Club soda

  • 1 - 2 oz vodka

  • A sprig of Fresh Mint

Please Drink Responsibly
