Starting this post by apologizing for another blue and white ensemble. I can't stop myself!
Last weekend the Beau and I took a road trip to a jam packed weekend split between Myrtle Beach and Charleston with my parents. And oh man it was an amazing time! It was so nice to be on the coast and in the low country!
On the day trip to Charleston we hit all my favorites and a couple new spots including, Skinny Dip- Charleston. While at Skinny Dip I found the perfect set of pearl earrings for my best friend and I that have small starfish on them. Too cute! I also found a pearl necklace attached by a blue ribbon (which matches everything in my wardrobe) both pieces were KJP. The Kiel James Patrick section of the store was like stepping into New England...I can't what to share more about my experience there in another post!
Of course we made a special trip down Church Street to Madison Mathews. My obsession is very real. Not only is the clothing adorable but also a affordable!
Several weeks ago I saw on their Instagram this structured seagrass basket purse and knew I need it! I have determined that this will be my summer bag and I am sorry if you get bored from seeing it on Southern'spirations allll summer long. I love how each bag is unique and made with such talented craftsmanship. To add my own little touch I added a pineapple keychain that I got at the Kate Spade outlet during their Memorial Day Weekend Sale.
The blue and white embroidered dress was actually picked out for me by the lovely sales lady, who is the sweetest person and makes you feel so special! I tried on the dress and fell in love with the fit, the lose fit makes the dress fashionable but also comfortable. The dress is light and airy making it perfect for summer nights at the beach or basically any thing.
I paired my outfit with my white Jack Rogers sandals and I know what you are thinking... Jacks in the water?! My white Jacks are Georgica Jelly Sandals making them perfect for a beach or lake weekend.
I wore the dress for an evening on the beach with Beau, Eloise and my parents. It was so much fun running through the tide with Eloise and enjoying the warm evening. Eloise had never been to the beach before so it was fun to see how she would react. She liked the sand and water until she got a face full of salt water and then she was ready to head home haha!
