Hello, Y'all!
As mentioned in the 2017 Year End Review, I ended the year feeling overstretched and exhausted. As part of my new year resolutions, I am making a conscious effort to focus on self-care. This year I am determined to take time for myself and to enjoy a slower pace, even if it is only going to bed 30 minutes early with a good book. Now I'm challenging all of you to take time to read a good old fashion book with me! Whether it is unplugging earlier in the evening or a quiet lunch break, take time to let your mind wander into the roaring 1920s or sail on the seas to treasure island.
I asked our Southern'spirations literary expert Delia to give us her top picks to read this year or any year for that matter! The list is spastic in the best sense of the word. There is something to pique your interest no matter your reading preferences. Some are classics, while others are brand new.
