If you are like me, you love a high quality but simple craft project. This season I have seen so many gold and glitzy pumpkins while out and about. So I decided to try gold foiling for the first time and create my own fancy gourd. And when I say this is super simple, it indeed is! Pick up a pack of gold foil sheets from your local craft store, (I got mine at Hobby Lobby) then follow the instructions on the packaging.
Mine called for a water-based glue, so I went with trusty mod podge. I would suggest doing the pumpkin in sections because the glue dries very quickly and needs to be slightly sticky for the foil to stick. And don't worry about it being perfect. I love the look of the pumpkin peeping through and the textured gold!
